Installation: Activate the TV tuner with Diagnostic Mercedes System or through Engineering Menu. If TV tuner does not appear as option to set, DO NOT proceed with installation because the system does not support both the Original or aftermarket tuner. In this case it's possible to install the standard DAS receiver (NOT in fiber optic version) using the auxiliary video IN input and the remote control on equipment to command. To install the DAS® receiver, refer to the specific user manual; Pay attention on the connection of the power supply cable: - RED wire (fig.3) must be DISCONNECTED. The switch (ON/OFF) of the receiver will be controlled by the Fiber-Optic activity - YELLOW wire (fig.1) must be connected to the +12V permanent/battery - BLACK wire (fig.2) must be connected to the GND. For the management of DAS receiver, use the arrow keys or the numeric keypad or the APS controller (joystick). WARNING: For the basic settings such as color, contrast, brightness and format, please refer to the menu of the car and make sure that the format is congruent with the set menu on the DAS.
