Henry IV, the emperor of the Roman Empire, was upset about the he Christian religion is one of the most important legacies of Ancient Rome. The Roman’s persecuted Christians for their beliefs. Yet the new religion continued to spread. Henry IV, the emperor of the Roman Empire, was upset about the reformations to the church by Pope Gregory VII.
