Academic Courses Three options: Exercise Science Clinical Exercise Science Non-Clinical (Fitness) Sport Administration Course Sequence is set up for 1-year program 2+ year grad students have some flexibility In general, fall and spring offerings are requirements; summer are electives
Course Sequence Specifics Exercise Science students may take Sport Admin courses as electives if approved and only if necessary Prerequisite deficiencies may increase one’s credit load and/or may be used as elective credits if taken post-bachelor’s degree and if course number is above 4750 Sport Administration internships must have paperwork turned in before the semester
Thesis Option (Elective) Thesis credits (KSS 5950 – 6 credits) are generally scheduled in the spring term Anyone may apply to do a thesis; however, it is not guaranteed to all – outside factors apply Thesis Handbook Students interested in obtaining a PhD should strongly consider doing a thesis
Oral & Written Rubrics Must have 2 oral & 2 written graduate rubrics completed before graduation!!!
End of Program Every student must fill out an Exit Interview online at the end of the program before they can officially graduate Exit Interview
