Ms. Gordon Third Grade, Room 10 September 18-22, 2017 A Peek at the Week! Reading: We continue with our unit on government. Students will work on inferencing skills and cause and effect. We are also working on nouns and verbs, and types of sentences. The unit assessment will be on Friday Math: Module 1 – Understanding equal groups as multiplication and dividing to find the size of groups or the number of groups. There will be a mid-module quiz on Tuesday! Social Studies: Map activities Technology: Students are now working on their Chromebooks! Writing: Scholars will be working in their writing journals this week. BTSN: Monday, September 18th! Classes open at 6:00 for session 1 and 6:30 for Session 2. Homework Monday: Math Review handout. Read 20 minutes. Tuesday: Math Lesson 9 homework. Read 20 minutes. Wednesday: Math Lesson 11 homework. Read 20 minutes. Thursday: Math Lesson 12 homework. Read Unit 2 Weekly Reading Passages PE is on Tuesday, Thursday, and alternating Wednesdays. Students should wear comfortable clothing and shoes!
