United Postmasters and Manager of America Career Awareness Conference

The Postal Service’s career awareness conferences are designed to achieve two goals: • Provide employees with information about career and personal growth and planning and developmental resources and • Create awareness of the career advancement opportunities available to all USPS employees. Every district is required to sponsor at least one career awareness conference a year.

Career Awareness Conferences are a Great opportunity to showcase the Benefits of joining UPMA as a Postmaster, Manager/Supervisor/EAS Professionals or Associate member.   All new EAS Employees receive 6 months Free Membership by completing the 1187 form and mailing to the UPMA National Office or Join on-line at www.unitedpma.org

What to Expect   Meet and Greet the evening before the first session. This is to network, not to sign members, ask them to stop by the booth Have the table or booth setup and ready ½ hour before registration opens or at a minimum 1 hour before the conference begins Activity will be before the conference starts, during breaks and lunch. Peaks and Valleys, your team must be ready for the Peaks
