Monthly Numeracy focus: LONG MULTIPLICATION The lattice method is an alternative to other long multiplication methods. In this approach, a lattice is first constructed, sized to fit the numbers being multiplied. The lattice method has 98% success rate. Your maths teachers will be very impressed if you can successfully complete all of the challenges on these slides.
