CHANGES TO THE PROGRAM STUDENTS WILL COMPLETE A MINIMUM OF 15 HOURS BY THE FIRST MONDAY IN APRIL IN THEIR 8TH GRADE YEAR
CHANGES TO THE PROGRAM INSTEAD OF A LOGBOOK, STUDENTS WILL NEED TO GET A LETTER SIGNED BY THE SUPERVISOR OF THE ORGANIZATION WHERE THE HOURS WERE COMPLETED
CHANGES TO THE PROGRAM STUDENTS WILL NEED TO REFLECT ON HOW EACH IB LEARNER PROFILE TRAIT IMPROVED DURING THEIR PROJECT
CHANGES TO THE PROGRAM EACH STUDENT NEEDS TO COMPLETE A POSTER or a POWER POINT SHOW THAT HIGHLIGHTS THEIR COMMUNITY AND SERVICE PROJECT THIS PROJECT SHOULD INCLUDE: PICTURES FROM EXPERIENCE, NEED IN THE COMMUNITY AND HOW IT WAS FULFILLED, WHICH GLOBAL CONTEXTS WERE ADDRESSED IN YOUR PROJECT AND HOW THEY WERE USED POSTER SHOULD BE NEAT, WELL-ORGANIZED, WELL DEVELOPED AND VISUALLY APPEALING.
WHAT IS STAYING THE SAME? ALL 6TH GRADE STUDENTS WILL TAKE A COMMUNITY AND SERVICE AFTERNOON BLOCK CLASS EVERY 7TH AND 8TH GRADE STUDENT WILL BE ASSIGNED AN ADVISOR EXTENDED HOMEROOMS WILL BE SCHEDULED TO MEET WITH ADVISORS
