Pastoral Care – March RESPONSIBILITY

Your Actions…… Why is it always some one else's fault? Lets just deal with you.. Take responsibility for your own actions!!! No one says that is easy!

Excuses……….. We know this is right…….. but we all find this really difficult ………. At some point we have to take responsibility …. Lets start today!!!!!

Two words to start with…….

Two words to start with……. A bit more of this would solve many problems… It certainly can take the heat out of confrontation ……

Apologies ………. You must learn from every situation….. Could I have handled what happened differently? Mean what you say…. This wont happen again!

Your Actions V Feelings ………… Be aware that your feelings can get in the way of what you do! Lashing out at someone rarely ends well! Here s a thought…. COUNT TO 10 THEN ACT

Anger…. Usually the root of things An angry response is rarely successful An angry response is usually a very public one Use anger wisely……

Anger………..

Bullying Responsible behaviour?

Phone/ Tablet/ internet………

How do I bully?????

Recently……..

Internet Safety on the internet is so important Just because you use it all the time doesn’t mean it cant cause you problems It may be far better to talk to someone in person rather then via social media!!!

Responsibility ……. homework Remember its work to do at home Its for you not your teachers It helps make school better for you. It helps build responsibility and self discipline.

Responsibility ….. Litter….. Simple things …… All food cartons in the bins outside and inside All plastic bottles emptied and placed in the clear plastic bags Everyone picks up after each other !
