Cornwall Sports Partnership Who we are: Forming a key link in the chain between local needs and regional and national policy, our main aim is to make a marked difference in sport in Cornwall.

Get Active Cornwall website Funded by the Department of Health to increase physical activity levels in the county Coordinated by the Cornwall Sports Partnership, in collaboration with a number of other partners Launching at the end of April

What will it do? Help to break down the barriers that usually stop people from exercising Big focus on activities that are easy to access and free to enjoy Provide information about everything happening in Cornwall Provide people who currently do little to no physical activity with the opportunity to get started Provide new opportunities for people who are looking to increase their levels of physical activity

Back to Netball Gentle introduction to the sport for female players over 16 years Sessions coach led and cover basic skills and court play Emphasis is on learning new skills and having fun playing Netball with friends Rediscover sporting abilities you forgot you had or just about getting active! Sessions cater for all abilities

Back to Netball 5 weeks of sessions held at Truro College June 2009 49 Ladies from across Cornwall attended Age group 20 – 60 years £3 per session plus £10 affiliation Exit route to local clubs and league

“The sessions were fun and sociable whilst also being educational, the players now have a much better understanding of the game and are fitter too!”
