RFF Interest Form-Renewals (Cohort 1 ONLY) School: Mountain Park Elementary Learning Community: NWLC Strategic Initiative(s): (From 2016-2019 plan) Existing RFFs Requested for Renewal: Collaborative work/Professional Development on developing or selecting monthly common formative assessments for ELA and Math Effective PLCS TAG Advanced Content Model for Science and Social Studies: Through implementing collaborative, project-based units, we are able to give all of our students the best possible and most intellectually appropriate learning experience. Design Thinking training- job embedded Instructional Rounds to focus on higher order thinking Implementation of Writers’ Workshop with coaching support Implementation of Readers’ Workshop with Professional Development Two student release days: We believe that all of these efforts work in concert to positively affect our students, we are confident that protected professional development time will help to ensure that our teachers achieve maximum understanding and that ultimately, our students receive maximum benefits.
