The Mass so far…

Sacrifice ..get back to the true meaning …giving, which is something positive and delightful.   … the interior spirit signified by the offering and the acts inspired by it.

The Mass in scripture: “Those who eat my flesh and drink my blood have eternal life, and I will raise them up on the last day...”   John 6:54

The Mass in scripture: “Do this in memory of me.” “…this is my Body, which will be given up for you.” Luke 22:19

The Mass is liturgy “The sacred liturgy does, in fact, include divine as well as human elements. …..instituted… by God, cannot be changed in any way by men. But the human components…as the ecclesiastical hierarchy, under guidance of the Holy Spirit, may have authorized.”  - Pope Pius XII, Mediator Dei, 50.

The church building “They serve at a sanctuary that is a copy and shadow of what is in heaven.” (Heb 8:5)

The church building “We Catholics preach the word not only with ink and speech, but also in stone, wood, glass, liturgy and the arts, all to the glory of God.” (Msgr. C. Pope, How Traditional Church Architecture Better fulfills the Plan of God, blog.adw.org)

The Priest “He who performs a liturgical function does not do so as a private person, but as a minister of the Church and an instrument in the hands of Jesus Christ.”   OFFICE FOR THE LITURGICAL CELEBRATIONS OF THE SUPREME PONTIFF

Liturgical music “The Church acknowledges Gregorian chant as specially suited to the Roman liturgy: therefore, other things being equal, it should be given pride of place in liturgical services” (Sacrosanctum Concilium , 116).

Liturgical music This pride of place was not intended to exclude other kinds of sacred music, especially polyphony, “so long as they accord with the spirit of the liturgical action.”

Liturgical music Tra Le Sollecitudini (Pope St Pius X, 1903) Mediator Dei (Pope Pius XII, 1947) Sacrosanctum Concilium (Second Ecumenical Vatican Council, 1963) Musicam Sacram (Second Ecumenical Vatican Council, 1967)
