MONDAY 2/25/2019 CEI Puzzle: Using the story at your table, create a full CEI paragraph using the available sentences in the envelopes. Continue CEI Paragraphs: You will continue your first CEI paragraph. Once you have finished it, bring it to Dr. George to review. CEI Paragraphs 2&3: Once your first CEI has been approved, move on to the 2nd and 3rd paragraph (yellow and green).

TUESDAY 2/26/2019 – Friday 3/1/2019 CEI Paragraphs 2&3: Once your first CEI has been approved, move on to the 2nd and 3rd paragraph (yellow and green). CEI Final Drafts (in lab): Once the majority of the class has completed all three CEI templates (white, yellow, and green), we will move to the English computer lab to type them in MLA format. Use the template on Edmodo for proper formatting.
This week’s standards… ELAGSE9-10RL1 (CCRS RI.9-10.1): Cite strong and thorough textual evidence to support analysis of what the text says explicitly as well as inferences drawn from the text. ELAGSE9-10W3: Write narratives to develop real or imagined experiences or events using effective technique, well-chosen details, and well-structured event sequences. ELAGSE9-10W9: Draw evidence from literary or informational texts to support analysis, reflection, and research. CCRS L.9-10.6: Acquire and use accurately general academic and domain-specific words. CCRS L.0-10.5b: Analyze nuances in the meaning of words with similar denotations.
