Give me 3 When I need the class’ attention I will hold up three fingers while also saying, “give me three.” I will do this until all students track me, are paying attention and also holding up three fingers Example

When I’m Talking When I’m talking you should be tracking on me. If there are questions please wait till I’m done speaking. If it is an emergency as bathroom, water, or tissue please use a hand signal. Bathroom

No Opt Out When you are asked a question please answer to the best of your ability. However, because you do not know the answer doesn’t mean that someone else doesn’t know. Please, pay attention to the correct answer because you’ll be asked to repeat as soon as it is said.

Moving Desks Four In – We will be doing work in groups so students need to move their desks facing each other in their groups of four. Four Facing – When students are in groups they move their desks back to facing the front. There are pieces of tape on the floor to indicate where the desks need to go. Clear Out- Students will move desks to the outer edges of the room.

Passing Paper When passing papers I will papers on the left side of the class. Please pass the papers to the right. When turning in papers please pass to the left toward the windows. If it is class work students at the end of the rows will put them into the correct Core folders

Lining Up and Moving About When your at lockers in the mornings and the afternoons you may talk but please watch your volume. All transitions between classes, to lunch, and to other parts of the school students are required to remain silent. This is to make sure that other classrooms are not disturbed and learning is allowed.

Consequences Name on board (unless out of classroom then it will be a clipboard Check – Check by name (equals to silent lunch) Chill out – Student is sent to chill out and parent is to be called. Biggest thing is to be RESPECTFUL RESPECT YOURSELF RESPECT YOUR PEERS RESPECT ADULTS

Drills……Be Serious We will work on emergency drills. Please take them seriously. Practice makes perfect. Be calm and do as instructed. Will be consequences if not taking seriously.
