Project Overview Robot will search a room for “offensive” odors If it detects a recognized odor, it will attempt to neutralize it with some commercial spray. 4/13/2019

Project Overview Will have to detect chemicals in the air Some Available Electrochemical Sensors Hydrogen Sulfide Methane Ammonia Chose Ammonia for its ease in testing. Hydrogen Sulfide is toxic and Methane is difficult to transport Humans can sense Ammonia at around 50ppm 4/13/2019

Sensors Found one supplier that sells their sensor for less that $250. Electrochemical Sensors are more sensitive to chemicals (around a few ppm) but have a very short lifespan Figaro sensors - TGS826 Metal Oxide Semiconductor

Sensors 4/13/2019

Future Work Design Platform Begin Testing TGS826 ASAP Begin looking at mechanism to spray Finish ordering sensors and servos
