Arctic Foxes By Nicole Paz

Body Arctic Foxes are a type of mammal. They have thick fur that keeps them warm. Arctic Foxes grow 18 to 27 inches.

Habitat Artic Foxes live near the North Pole. The North Pole is snowy and cold. They make dens by digging in the snow.

Food Arctic Foxes are scavengers and hunters. They eat birds, fish, and other small animals. Arctic Foxes follow polar bears and eat their leftovers.

What They Look Like

Life Cycle Arctic Foxes in the early spring mate. Females give birth about 50 days later. They have 6 to 12 years in the wild.

Fun Facts Arctic Foxes fur in the spring is brown and white in the winter. Their tails are like blankets when sleeping. On the bottom of their paw there is some fur
