Practicing Techniques You’ve researched your techniques, now you need to practice them! For this task you can work by yourself or if you really want to, you can work in groups of up to 3. You cannot team up with people looking to specialise in the same area. For example, if your chosen specialism is camera person, then you should to look to team up with an editor. This way you can both practice different techniques.

Production You will need to experiment with these techniques, producing 5 – 10 different examples of 2 – 3 different techniques. Through practicing these techniques, you should become more proficient in them and see a development from the first to the last. It is important that you don’t just go and do them all at once! This will not give you time to evaluate and improve the technique. Don’t try anything too complicated or unachievable but do try to push yourself! Don’t just choose something you can already do!
