The capital city is Canberra, but the largest city is Sydney. Sydney is famous for its harbor and Opera House. The Great Barrier Reef stretches partway around Australia, and has some of the most beautiful coral in the world.
New Zealand It is an island nation off the southeast coast of Australia, but it is over 2,000 kilometers away. New Zealand has beautiful scenery, and many movies and tv shows are made there, including The Lord of the Rings trilogy. The capital city is Wellington.
English and Maori are the spoken languages in New Zealand. The Maori are the people who lived there before the Europeans came and settled. There are about 4.5 million people who live in New Zealand.
