Draft Guidelines for application of the Unique Identifier (UI) Transmitted by the expert of GRE-IWG-SLR   Document DETA-32-07e Draft Guidelines for application of the Unique Identifier (UI) WP29 IWG IWVTA - SG58-22-10 Rev1 Proposal to amend Annex 1 Taking into account: The original proposal in SG58-22-10 Rev1 The proposal in SG58-23-04 (Japan) clarifying the situation concerning extensions to approvals relating to a mix of products having different performance levels. The amendment proposed in DETA-31-04Rev.1 –GRE IWG-SLR Comments noted during the discussion of DETA-31-04Rev.1 –GRE IWG-SLR in the IWVTA -26 Session 09 March 2018. The IWVTA experts agreed with the basic approach proposed by GRE IWG-SLR but suggested that the proposed wording may be difficult to understand by anyone unfamiliar with the detail of the preceding discussions. IWG-SLR was invited to divide the line 5 of the table in Annex 1 into two sections. The following version of the table divides the line 5 into two parts, resulting in the renumbering of the sections. Additionally the table has been reformatted to show the differentiation between the cases applicable to the text of the original series of amendments and a subsequent series.

Case 2 : Update of UN Regulation - New Series of Amendments Annex 1: General guidelines on the use of the UI in case of modifications of approved products or of UN Regulations.
