To The Lighthouse Character Presentation Savannah Martini, Kristine Chen, Tarika Sivakumar

Rose Ramsay: In the middle of the Ramsay daughters Is aesthetically gifted- organizes her mother’s jewelry and the fruit bowl for the dinner party. Young and beautiful Inquisitive- seen in her scene with Jasper at the beginning when she asks her mother if they should put the dinner party on hold since all their guests haven’t arrived. Doesn’t have much dialogue or internal thought in the novel.

Prue Ramsay: Oldest Ramsay daughter Beautiful young woman “He called them privately after the Kings and Queens of England; Cam the Wicked, James the Ruthless, Andrew the Just, Prue the Fair--for Prue would have beauty, he thought, how could she help it? (26) Characterized only by her beauty
