A Prayer for the People of the Democratic Republic of the Congo Father of all creation, we cry out to You today for the people affected by the Ebola outbreak in the DRC. We pray for families who have been affected by this terrible virus. We pray for Your strength, comfort and healing for all those who will contract the virus and will battle for their lives. Lord, in Your mercy, hear our prayer. Lord Jesus, Prince of Peace, we ask today for Your peace to reign on the nation of the DRC. We pray for an end to the tensions and violence in the aftermath of the recent presidential elections and an end to the spread of the Ebola virus. We pray today for all those who have lost loved ones, that You would draw them close to You and protect them. In all these things we pray You bring Your perfect peace.
