Responding ENSL 0081-015, THU 29 June 2017

One idea All writing addresses questions. What does this mean?

The task the direction… the question… Restate the author's message using your own words. In your own words, what is the author’s message? State your position regarding the author's message. What is your position vis-à-vis that message? Explain your position thoroughly. What do you mean? To conclude your response, connect your position back to the author’s. How does your position relate to the author’s exactly?

Our focus Restate the author's message using your own words. Questions: How does one begin? What do we notice in the opening sentence? What might that mean for the writing overall? How might we know what we want to say?

Example opening sentence Restate the author’s message using your own words. (What is the author’s message?) The author’s message is when we commit and try our best for any jobs we will be proud and happy at the end.

Example opening sentence Restate the author’s message using your own words. (What is the author’s message?) I agree with the author that there is not any bad job.
