Functions of an ETQA Certify learners Co-operate with moderating bodies appointed by SAQA Recommend new standards and/or qualifications or modification to existing ones to SAQA Maintain a database acceptable to SAQA

Criteria for accreditation Quality Management System Registration in terms of applicable legislation Ability to develop, deliver and evaluate learning programmes Management of assessments including RPL and appeals

Criteria for accreditation Financial, administrative and physical resources Staff selection, appraisal and development Learner entry, guidance and support Management of off-site practical or work-site components Reporting procedures

Accreditation Process ISETTSETA ETQA Division: Receives request/letter of intent Checks for fit with primary focus Sends Accreditation documentation THE PROVIDER Completes the application form Submits complete application form with required documents
