SOM - Word of the Month: Friendship Ms. Gordon Third Grade, Room 10 September 25-29, 2017 A Peek at the Week! Reading: We begin Unit 2 in Benchmark. Students will discuss how characters shape stories while reading a variety of fables, myths, poetry, and folktales. Reading University starts this Monday – look for the application to go home . It is due on Tuesday! Math: Module 1 – continuing with the second half of Module 1. Social Studies: Map activities, and regions of California Technology: Students are now working on their Chromebooks! They start Spelling City on Monday, along with a reading program called Readtheory.org. Writing: scholars are drafting their first personal narrative in their journals.
