Section 2 of the Buddhism course The Goals Section 2 of the Buddhism course

What are we looking at today? Introducing the new section of the Buddhism course –the Goals. Beginning to explore the concept of Kamma and what this means to Buddhists.

What are ‘the Goals’ in Buddhism? What would be an ideal life for a Buddhist? What would they be aiming for? Think about what you know already from the Human Condition….

Kamma Literally means action A natural law – no God making judgements We are in control of our lives! Actions are guided by intentions The kamma you achieve from past lives determine your future rebirths. Actions lead to consequences Consequences and intentions go towards developing good or bad kamma from an action.
