BR #56 November 26, 2012 In your own words, what is a subject and a predicate? What are complete, compound, and simple subjects and predicates? Create three complete sentences and underline the subjects and predicates in each.

BR #56 November 26, 2012 Using your past Bellringers, write down Punctuation Rules #1-10. You do not have to write the examples.

BR #57 November 27, 2012 Write the following sentences on your paper. Underline the subject once and the predicate twice. Circle the simple subject and simple predicate in each sentence. 1. Whales are mammals. 2. People have hunted whales since prehistoric times. 3. Can a whale produce sounds undrewater? 4. Some whales are one hundred feet long. 5. Size varies within species.
