Canadian Food Guide Here is the Canadian food guide which if you follow you can stay healthy.

The 4 Groups of Food There are 4 groups of food I will talking about each one in the next slides.

Grain What foods are in the Grains Group? Any food made from wheat, rice, oats, cornmeal, barley or another cereal grain is a grain product.

Meat And Alternatives Chicken, Roast Beef, Turkey and Pork Tenderloin are all good types of meat to eat that can be Nutritious. Beans, lentils, eggs, nuts, nut butter and seeds, are all good, nutritious alternatives to meat.

Milk And Alternatives Milk and its alternatives are very important, since they are excellent sources of calcium, vitamin D, and many other essential nutrients.

Fruits And Vegetables Apples and pears. Oranges, grapefruits, mandarins and limes. Strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, kiwifruit.
