Total War. K: The ways the Government extended its control over Britain in the war. U: Why Govt control was extended during the war. S: using evidence to support a point of view.

Outcomes All can identify and describe measures taken by the government in this Total War. E-D Most can explain why government control was extended further in this war. C Some explain some of the limitations of using the term ‘Total War’ in the context of WWI. B-A

Total War Read AQA textbook pg 39-42 and Rees photocopy to gain a thorough understanding of the issues Decide whether each statement is true or false Provide at least 2 pieces of supporting evidence
