Human Sexuality What is human sexuality? Let’s create a list together! Human sexuality is more than just sex, it is everything about being male and about being female.

Sexual Definitions

Human Sexuality Human sexuality is how people experience and express themselves as sexual beings. It has biological, physical and emotional aspects. Biological- reproductive mechanism & biological sex drive Physical- sexual behaviour Emotional- emotions relating to sexual acts and associated bonds.

Sexual Well-Being Sexual well-being is a state of physical, emotional, mental and social well-being. It is not just the absence of disease or dysfunction, but it includes a positive and respectful approach to sexuality and sexual relationships, as well as the possibility of having pleasurable and safe sexual experiences free from coercion, discrimination and violence.

Intimacy Intimacy is a close, familiar and affectionate personal relationship, established through sharing, openness and self-disclosure. Is intimacy sex? Is sex very intimate?

Commitment Commitment is to give in trust an obligation, assurance or binding promise. * Write a response to the following question: What is the relationship between intimacy and commitment?
