Points and Green Tokens

New Points Card – The School Day

What’s changed? Up to 60 points in the day - Lunchtime is now included Up to 60 points during residential time as well Each point is worth a penny – 60 pence per day/ £3.00 per week! The school card explains what you need to do to achieve LORIC points Leadership Am I helpful? Can I make decisions? Organisation Am I in school uniform? Is my phone away? Am I on time for my lesson? Resilience Can I cope with challenges? Am I trying my best? Initiative Am I being responsible? Am I being independent? Communication Am I polite? Am I using appropriate language? If I go against one of our school values, my points will be affected We keep ourselves safe We respect each other We respect the environment

Green Tokens

Green Tokens Assembly will be Friday morning 9.45am in the common room These are awarded for showing respect, kindness and safety – going above and beyond! At the end of the day, the green token will be placed into your tutor group jar Each week there is a prize for the pupil with the most green tokens There is also a prize for the pupil with the most points in each group At the end of term, the tutor group with the most green tokens will have a trip out The top 5 point scorers across the school will also have a trip out Assembly will be Friday morning 9.45am in the common room Green token weekly winner – which pupils has the most? Points weekly winner – one per group One Overall winner – special prize!

Can I have points taken off me? No! But please… Remember our 3 Academy Values… We keep ourselves safe We respect each other We respect the environment So, if you… Hurt someone verbally or physically Leave the school site Show dangerous behaviour Damage school equipment or furniture Then this will affect your rewards overall.
