AP Biology Class Bonneville High School Mr. Walker The goal of the class is to prepare you for a single test in April. -The score on the test may allow you to get college credits. -This is a college level class. You are to give a college level effort. The expectations are also on a college level. No late work or retakes on tests.

Enduring understanding Learning Objective Essential Knowledge Science Practice The New AP Biology 4 Big Ideas: The process of evolution drives the diversity and unity of life. Biological systems utilize energy and molecular building blocks to grow, reproduce, and maintain homeostasis. Living systems retrieve, transmit, and respond to information essential to life processes. Biological systems interact, and these interactions possess complex properties. Big Idea Science Practices: The student can use representations and models to communicate scientific phenomena and solve scientific problems. The student can use mathematics appropriately. The student can engage in scientific questioning to extend thinking or to guide investigations within the context of the AP course. Student can plan and implement data collection strategies in relation to a particular scientific question. The student can perform data analysis and evaluation of evidence.
