2 Minute Pearls Cleaning Up Template Lists Has your template list become cluttered with templates you never use? Would you like to clean out your unused templates so it is easier to access the ones you do use? Wouldn’t it be great if AHLTA could do it for you? This Pearl will demonstrate how both you and AHLTA can remove unused templates from your list of templates

To access your list of templates use the Template Management module in the folder list

To view templates within each folder click the expand ‘+’ next to the folder

Select the template you want to delete Click Delete on the action bar At the delete confirmation prompt, click Yes

In Conclusion … You can clean-up your template list. You should not delete items in the MTF or enterprise folder. In the future Each template will be dated. Templates that have not been used for a period of time will be automatically purged. Templates can be cleaned up by your MTF for users who have left your facility or are not being used by your facility.
