Goals of HRA Open Facilitate HRA member Public or Open Access Policies NIH Policy: “…all investigators funded by the NIH submit or have submitted for them to the National Library of Medicine's PubMed Central an electronic version of their final, peer-reviewed manuscripts upon acceptance for publication, to be made publicly available no later than 12 months after the official date of publication.” HRA Open enables HRA member funded awardees to deposit peer-reviewed publications into PubMed Central – like an NIH-funded researcher.
Goals of HRA Open (cont) 1. Facilitate HRA members Public or Open Access Policies Foster Open Behavior – share data, code, etc Enables researchers to upload and share all research outputs (datasets, preprints, code, etc) to figshare Findable Accessible Interoperable Reusable Link research outputs to publications in PMC pubs data (etc) 4. Link HRA member funding to publications, and all research outputs (data, code, etc) pubs data grant
