Applying to Graduate When you go to apply for graduation, when selecting the term of graduation, you need to select the semester in which your degree requirements will be complete. (NOT the semester you plan on walking at commencement) EXAMPLE: If you would like to walk in the April (Winter 2019) commencement ceremony, BUT plan to finish your degree requirements in Spring/Summer 2019 (i.e., you still have a spring/summer class to complete), you need to select Spring/Summer as the term of graduation, NOT Winter 2019. All Spring/Summer graduates are invited to Winter Commencement.
