PSAT Score Report

PSAT Score Report

PSAT Score Report Last year the Selection Index needed to qualify for National Merit Semifinalist was 221 The cutoff for the 2018 PSAT will be announced in September of 2019

PSAT Score Report Shows number correct, missed, or skipped for each section Shows each individual question and if right/wrong Can use PSAT booklet to go back over questions and study

Why Practice for the SAT? Higher SAT scores open more doors More colleges More scholarships $$$$ From colleges From scholarships Admittance into Honors programs Special dorms/perks What if I’m undecided about college? SAT scores are good for 5 years and will be there if you change your mind Even if you are going to TCC, some scholarships require SAT scores

Upcoming SAT Dates March 9-first Sat. of spring break May 4- During AP Testing June 1- first Sat. of summer The next test following June 1 isn’t until August 2019 If you are on free/reduced lunch you qualify for a fee waiver Register through your collegeboard account

College Board Account If you think you may have an account click “Forgot Username” Enter every email you might have used to create one If one links then go to that email to recover your username Enter your username Click “forgot password” and follow the steps Login to your account ONLY If no emails link-You may create a new account Go to www.collegeboard.org If you know your information login to your account If you know you have an account but forgot your information follow the steps for “Forgot Username” and “Forgot Password” Login once you have your info

Khan Academy Account Open a new tab Go to www.satpractice.org Log into your account we created in September Recover your username and password if needed Click your name in the top right corner Click “Settings” Scroll down to where it says “Connect to Collegeboard.org” Click “Connect to Collegeboard.org” Enter your college board login information and submit

Setting a Practice Schedule In the top left click “Courses” Click “SAT” Click “Choose Your Practice Schedule” Set a schedule for 3x/week at 20 minutes each Practice during Reb Time!!!
