Examples of Illuminated Manuscripts

Example of Acrostic Poem Muhammad was born in Mecca and became an orphan by six. His Uncle raised him and taught him to be a successful caravan manager. He later worked for a woman named Khadijah who he marries. An angel named Gabriel appears while Muhammad is praying in a cave. Muslims believe God spoke to Muhammad through the Angel. Muhammad was afraid at first but later accepts that he is a prophet Arabs at this time were mostly polytheistic and Muhammad was teaching that there is only one God. Muhammad Did not have many followers at first and people rejected his teachings. As you can see this is not all there is to Muhammad’s life. I would write his name one more time vertically and continue the acrostic poem and the story of Muhammad’s life.
