3Q08 Update - Data Entry Introduction– During the past 6-months we have re-designed the data entry process. This updated system has been designed to facilitate the entering of the data into the WGR database by decreasing data entry time and increasing the accuracy of entered data. In order to accomplish these goals we have set-up a HINT field. HINT will list all known variations of a game name allowing you to choose the actual game you wish to list in the database record. All known defaults are tied to each specific game’s version. These defaults are accurate and actual. The defaults match what we have historically listed in our database and what the manufacturer has listed for each game name. DO NOT change the defaults for a correctly chosen game.

3Q08 Update - Data Entry Once a Base Game Name has been chosen the HINTS will display the various game options available. Select the game that most closely matches the data you have collected at the casino, and then hit the tab button. This will automatically enter all the correct default information for the specified game. To complete the database record, you will need to fill-in the missing information: リ Denomination リ Lines & Coins OR Credits リ Units リ Units Occupied リ Comments And, make any corrections as is necessary: リ Cabinet Type リ Machine Class リ Multi-Game リ Cabinet Manufacturer

3Q08 Update - Data Entry NEW GAMES -- NOT listed in database Please Note: As always, new games will not appear in the HINTS. You will need to either contact me, Gloria, via email to add these games, or you will need to enter the record with the BASE GAME listed as “Unknown”, with all other information filled in & with the actual game name listed in the COMMENTS field. OLD GAMES -- with version NOT listed in database If you find old games which do not appear in the HINT, I.e. a specific version of an old game does not appear in the HINT. You will need to either contact me, Gloria, via email to add these games, or you will need to enter the correct information & make a note in the COMMENTS field as to the correction needed for this version.

The following is information regarding the inputting of data. 3Q08 Update - Data Entry Actual DATA ENTRY The following is information regarding the inputting of data. 1) First entry is BASE GAME Name a. In the first field, start typing the actual game name b. Review game name appearing in the 2nd field, ALWAYS make sure the complete Game Name is correct, if not select the correct name from the drop-down list of names. 2) In the HINT field, select the correct game description of the # of Reels, Game Type, Manufacturer, or Feature as listed 3) THEN – hit the “TAB” button 4) This will automatically fill-in default information for known data fields. This ONLY occurs after the tab button is hit. a. NOTE: ALL the auto-filled/default data MUST be reviewed. b. It is your responsibility to ensure that the information is correct. c. Then SAVE the record. .

3Q08 Update - Data Entry Based on the HINT default you have selected, the following fields will need to be reviewed because the data will already be entered: 1) Manufacturer 2) Bonus Type 3) Game Type 4) # Reels 5) WAP – Wide Area Progressive 6) Multi-Terminal 7) Feature 8) Machine Class

Your will need to enter/make data changes for the following fields. 3Q08 Update - Data Entry Actual DATA ENTRY Your will need to enter/make data changes for the following fields. 5) Ticket-In – If the machine does NOT have Ticket-In ability, UNCHECK this field. 6) Wide Area Progressive -- If yes this is a WAP, place a check mark next to the WAP (See Feature/WAP Name – drop-down list for verification) 7) Multi-Game – If yes this is a Multi-game, then place a check mark in the Multi-Game box 8) Cabinet Type -- Choose the correct cabinet type. 9) Cabinet Manufacturer -- ONLY to be filled in IF there is a 2nd manufacturer involved with the slot machine(s) of record. 10) Max Lines & Max Coins OR Max Credit -- Based on the buttons or displayed information on the machine, enter either Max Lines & Max Coins OR enter Max Crédit information. 11) Units & Occupied Units – each MUST have a number entered or you will not be allowed to save the record 12) Comments -- Enter any/all abnormalities or information that pertains to the slot machines/units of this record
