If absolute bikes charges a $35 flat fee plus 10 dollars an hour to rent a bike. Write an equation that represents The hourly rate to rent a bike. Identify the independent variable? Identifiy the dependent variable? What does the slope of the line represent? What does the y-intercept of the line represent?

If a car company charges a $85 flat fee and $.85 per mile to rent a mid size car. Write a linear equation that gives the total cost C in terms of number of miles driven, x. What does the independent variable represent? Dependent? Slope? Y- Intercept?
