Work package 4 Lead Organization UMIT (Austria) 15.5.2018-15.10.2019 WP 4.1: Enrolment of new generation of students WP 4.2: Strengthening cooperation with EU partner HEIs through organization of workshops WP 4.3 High standards and quality assurance of educational process and teaching (Task leader: UMIT) WP 4.4: Evaluation of teaching process and students experience (Task leader: UMIT)

Task: 4.3 Objective Workshops hosted by EU HEIs and ME with the aim to share experience and describing processes in developing and validating quantitative and qualitative evaluation tools.

Task: 4.4 Objective Evaluations and quality assessments are conducted during two semesters, organized by ME HEIs.

Questions For which degree program should evaluations be developed? What should be evaluated? Who should when and where participate in a workshop? What should be the language of evaluation materials? (Montenegrin/English)

Evaluation level Evaluation at three levels: 1. Evaluation of the course and the study environment 2. Evaluation of the instructor 3. Periodic evaluation of the curriculum

Didaktik: Gelingt es, durch die eingesetzten Lehr-Lern-Formen das Wissen zu vermitteln? Lernerfolg: Welches Wissen haben die Studierenden erworben?

2. Evaluation of the instructor Was the course clearly structured? Was the instructor knowledgeable? Was the course in its presentation interesting and lively? Has interest been created? Were the contents explained coherently? Was there enough information regarding the exam? …

3. Evaluationof the curriculum Did the curriculum content match the expectation of the students? Which elements were especially beneficial? Which elements were found missing? …

Implementation of evaluation? Electronical: Evaluation via software, e.g. EvaSys, Moodle? Paper based? Only standardized questions or also free text? After each course? Evaluation after the semester / at the end?

Analysis of evaluation results? Who organizes the data collection? Who does the data analysis? Who will get the evaluation report? Who will act on the evaluation reports? Will the students be informed on evaluation results and any resulting consequences?

Needed: Comprehensive evaluation concept Define processes in conducting qualitative and quantitative evaluation to assess courses and learning materials Content: Who does when what to evaluate and improve quality of courses
