Cold War Project Due: March 15, 2012

Introduction In this project, you will research, analyze and create a presentation on a major Cold War Event. You will research using the internet and library sources. You will write analyses of important portions of the event. You will use www.capzles.com to create your presentation.

What do I need to do? First, you will pick and sign up for a major Cold War event from an approved list. Second, you will have time in the library to research your event. Analyses will be written on your own time. Third, once your analyses are done, you will have time in the library to collect pictures, music and create your Capzle. Fourth, you will be assigned a project and you will have to grade that project. Fifth, once your project has been graded by a peer, you will need to make adjustments and then turn in your final project. Finally, you will view each of your classmates’ projects and take notes to show what you have learned on your final test.

What does your teacher expect? I will expect that you will work on this project both in class and outside of class to ensure that your presentation is completed on time. Remember that you are responsible for teaching your classmates about your chosen event. I expect that you will present your information accurately and completely. I expect that you will make appropriate comments and feedback on your fellow students’ presentations. I expect that you will treat all equipment with respect and care.
