Advancing Communities Menu LENS Sample Japanese Language English Advancing Communities There are three sets of programs available. The first set is comprehensive curriculum aimed for awakening communities to what is happening in communities which are on the move, and revealing why this is happening. Practical skills for leaders of communities are provided in the Community Leadership Training. Furthermore, there are a variety of programs facilitated by experts who understand communities eagerness to leap ahead. The second set are programs that help participants understand the deep principles involved in community development. Select programs as you need them. The third set utilizes the enormous power of international relations to involve individuals in seeing and learning first hand other parts of the world. Consequently they return home and network to share the eye opening experiences with all their acquaintances and friends. Why not plan a trip for your friends too? Each of the programs are frequently applied to overseas communities as well as to Japanese towns and villages. This year, the programs will be applied to five or more international communities, as well as to towns in northern and western Japan.
