Mrs. Stephens and Señora Coriano Kindergarten Class Welcome Families

About Mrs. Stephens I grew up in Piscataway, NJ. I attended Morgan State University in Baltimore, MD where I received a degree in Psychology. I received my Masters in Leadership in Teaching from the College of Notre Dame in Baltimore, MD. Now called Notre Dame of Maryland University. I moved to Delaware about 13 years ago. This is my 13th year teaching Kindergarten and I love it. I have a fifteen year old daughter in eleventh grade named Alisiya and a eight year old daughter in third grade named Chloe.

About Señora Coriano I was born in Caguas, Puerto Rico. I study at Turabo University in P.R. where I obtain two Bachelor degrees in Education and Biology. I moved to Delaware about 10 years ago. I’ve been teaching for approximately 9 years. I have a twenty one year old son and a twenty year old daughter.  My goal with your children is that they learn to speak, write and read in Spanish. That they can independently develop their mental, physical, spiritual, social and cultural skills in an environment with rules and guidelines keeping in mind care and safety.
