Conscious Choices: A Guide to Self-Directed Learning Chapter Seven Integration: Time and Learning

Spending, Killing, or Making Time Your view of time affects what you do with your time. The language and thoughts you use to refer to time begin to direct how time is perceived and applied in your life.

Time = Life How you choose to spend your time is how you are also expending your life. When you spend time, you spend your life. When you honestly evaluate how you are actually spending your time, you see exactly why you get what you do out of life.

Balancing Time Burnout Spending too much time trying to do too much Empty Time Plan several hours each day where you can goof off, rest, or exercise

Planning with Time Planning also means you are setting an intention or an aim to make something specific happen. This is a powerful mode of creating time. When you set your plans with an emotional commitment, you are not only making time but also creating the possibility for them to be actualized.

Saving Time Working Efficiently Conserving Energy Managing Multiple Tasks Minimizing Distractions Developing a Good Memory
