Objective of the meeting General objective To enable countries conduct high quality entomological monitoring activities and ensure sustainability of the program. Specific Objectives To update participants on entomological monitoring techniques. To create forum for experience and best practices sharing. To discuss and find ways to further improve the quality and depth of entomological data collected to better inform VC program. To discuss on challenges related to entomological monitoring activities and find ways to address them.

Expected outcomes Participants will be updated on entomological monitoring techniques. experiences and best practices related to EM will be shared among the participants. Activities that would contribute to further improving the quality and depth of PMI AIRS EM work will be identified. challenges identified and solutions proposed.

Training Approaches Presentations followed by discussions Demonstrations and practical exercise Encourage participants to share their experiences. Group work if time allows.
