PLAYER EXPECTATIONS School Attendance Grades Must attend at least half a school day to practice / compete in games (PWCS regulation) Grades Players must maintain good academic standing Progress reports: no F’s or U’s, or teacher complaints (will result in consequences) Must be passing 5 classes to be eligible Cell phones - out of sight, out of mind, zero tolerance during practice/games Appearance Clean shaven (no facial hair past ears) No earrings, jewelry (prohibited in games) Practice attire: baseball pants/belt, navy practice jersey, hat, turf shoes, cleats Required to ride activity bus post game, unless approved prior Practice attendance

PARENT EXPECTATIONS Zero communication with players / coaches during games unless emergency You are representing Patriot HS and your child when you are attending games Any issues contact me, steinbjl@pwcs.edu 24 hour rule

VARSITY LETTER CRITERIA Requirements to receive a varsity letter 7 – 7 – 7 7 pitching appearances / innings 7 at-bats Play in 7 games

SPRING BREAK - VARSITY HIT TOURNAMENT: Charleston, SC April 15 – 18th Will practice Saturday, April 13th Players will be staying in assigned rooms (3 players/room) Players expected to arrive by Sunday, April 14th Hotels booked for Sunday, April 13 – Thursday, April 18 (check out)

Parent Information Google Photos Please complete the Parent Information form https://goo.gl/forms/R01332DhTkwaNHtf2 Google Photos Google photo albums will be created for pictures. You will receive an email to view and add to the album. You can have google photo account or you can view through your email. Please take pictures and add to the albums. The players really enjoy them.

Game day meals and Game day coolers Players will meet in room 2117 after school on game days so that they can have a meal together before their games. Cost $150 this comes out to @7.50 per game for game day meal and game day coolers. Meals will vary from game to game examples of meals: walking tacos, chick fil a, chicken alfredo, sub sandwiches, etc. Players will have available water, Gatorade, juice boxes, chips and protein/granola/nutrigrain bars and occasionally fruit/fruit snacks or smoothies. (*please note any player allergies on player information form) Game day coolers – each team will have a cooler on game days with waters and gatorades. The players on the team are responsible for taking the cooler to away games. It is filled up for them they just take on the bus and to the dugout and back to home. Post-season meals and spring break tourney coolers are not included in the $150. Info for those events will come later.
