Artificial Organs

Grafts Moving tissue from a healthy part of the body to an injured part. Examples: Skin graft for burn victims, Replacing damaged heart vessel from leg vessel Replace an amputated thumb with a toe

Transplant Transfer of tissue or organ from one person to another Can be taken from deceased or living person. Must meet requirements: size, blood type, health
