ENG I : Reading Workshop Library Instructions: Mrs. Davis Intro Book Checkout (10 minutes) Report to Mr. Davis

Reading Workshop Guidelines You must read for the ENTIRE reading session. No exceptions. For each time that you are off-task: talking to another student, writing notes, lose focus, sleep, etc., you WILL LOSE points. After we have completed the reading session, you will write at least one 5-sentence paragraph about what you read. Do not write before instructed to do so.

Reading Workshop Response Label: Author, Title, Today’s Date Write about whatever you like: you may summarize your reading, identify the setting and characters if you’re just getting started, or infer (draw conclusions) about the text itself. You may use the “Book Chat” sheet to generate ideas, as well.
