Nazca Lines By: Rachel Curti, Andrea Bustos, Zaul Luciano, Meerrah Ganeshram, Jonthan Alvarez

What are the Nazca lines? The Nazca lines are huge shapes carved into the sand The reason as to what they represent is unknown.

Where Nazca lines Are Found Nazca lines can be found in the deserts of Peru. The Andes Mountains are located near the lines.

Important times for the Nazca lines. The Lines were created in 1-450 CE (common era) The first lines were discovered in 1926 and are still being discovered today.

How the Nazca lines were created. The Nazca lines were created by carving into the sand. Because the deserts are flat and dry, the lines did not vanish They also used a technique using red rocks.

We believe… We believe that the lines were used for religious purposes. Zaul thinks that it was an alien landing site, unlike the rest of us.

Theory Testing! We would: 1: Mapping the lines 2: Excavating the premises 3: examining any items we find.
