Who Am I? Led a force of Georgia patriots in an attack against British loyalists. Patriots gained badly needed guns, ammunition and horses. Victory at Kettle Creek won over many Georgians who had not chosen sides

Elijah Clarke

Who Am I? Fought in the American Revolution in GA Wounded at the Battle of Kettle Creek One of the only blacks to ever receive land from the State of GA in a lottery. Also received pension for his military service.

Austin Dabney

Who Am I? Tories barged in the cabin and demanded a meal. Cooked for Tories, and while they were drinking, stole their guns. Held the Tories hostage in home; shooting two when they tried to take their guns back.
