My Reaction to what I’ve learned After learning about the skills, requirements, and the paychecks of substitute teaching I do not see myself teaching the subject in my future. Mostly because of the small salary and the amount of stress that goes into dealing with the children and strict schedule. One substitute teacher once said “ Being a substitute teacher definitely is a challenge, but it’s always worth it to see the smiles on kids faces at the end of the day.”
