Agenda Presentation – DRA Review of our charge Consideration of our ratings on assessments Decision on which assessments to pilot Brainstorming on pilots Meet next March 28

Presentation of Developmental Reading Assessment

Where do we go from here?

DARC Recommendations from 2016-2017

Review of Assessment Ratings and Comments Summaries of the committee’s feedback* on the assessments we have reviewed are posted around the room from two perspectives: Organized by assessment Organized by the 5 dimensions of our rubrics Circulate around the room and consider the information we have. What patterns do you see? What are the data telling us about each assessment? * Note: The mean ratings are based on variable numbers of people.

DECISION MAKING PROTOCOL In order for the group to reach a decision on a recommendation, we will use the following protocol: •All committee members (including chair and facilitator) are voting members with equal weight in decision making. •Consensus is reached when 80% of the committee who are in attendance agree on a clear option and if a few oppose it, they think they have had a reasonable opportunity to influence that choice. All team members agree to support the decision.

Brainstorming Considerations for Pilots this Spring

NEXT MEETING DATE 4:30-6:30 in room I-107 March 28, 2018 NEXT! (Last?) Exit Activity On an index card, please let us know the information you would like us to bring to the next meeting to help you evaluate the outcomes of the pilots and decide which assessment(s) to recommend for adoption.
